How do I book a class?
You can book a class using our Free NYX Cycle + Fitness app for iOS and Android or through our website at www.nyxcycle.com.
How far out can I book my classes?
Beginning each Sunday afternoon at 3pm, you can book up to 7 days in advance as a drop-in or if you have a package. If you have a membership, you can book up to 14 days in advance.
Do you offer spin shoe rentals?
Yes, we have shoes available for rent.
Can I bring my own spin shoes?
Yes! Our bikes are SPD compatible.
Can I ride in my tennis shoes?
Yes, you can.
Do you have water?
Yes! We have bottled water for sale, as well as a water machine to fill up your bottle for free.
Can I book a class for a guest?
Yes, you can book a class for a guest using your credits.
How early should I arrive to class?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class to ensure you’re set up for the ride.
What is the cancellation policy for classes I’ve signed up for?
If you cancel within 12 hours of the class, there is a cancellation fee. If you cancel more than 12 hours in advance, there is no fee.
Do you offer shower facilities?
Yes, we offer bathrooms with showers and amenities. We also have lockers in the hallway for storage of personal items.
What happens if I cancel less than 12 hours before class starts?
You will be charged $15. Credit members will not lose their credit.
What happens if I do not show up for class?
You will be charged $20. Credit members will not lose their credit.
What is your cancellation policy for the month-to-month unlimited monthly memberships?
You can cancel your membership at any time. However, if your payment has already been processed for the month, your cancellation will go into effect the following month.
What is your refund policy?
Retail items may be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is unworn with tags attached.
How do I use an electronic gift card?
When purchased, the gift card is emailed to you. You can bring the gift card into the studio to be placed on your account, or you can apply it to your purchases from within the NYX app or website.
Do I need cycling shoes?
Cycling shoes are recommended, and rental shoes are available at both studios.
- NYX North: Stages SC2 bikes with SPD-compatible clips. Pedals also include cages for regular athletic shoes.
- NYX South: Stages SC2 bikes with dual-sided pedals compatible with both Delta and SPD clips.
What happens if I arrive late to class?
For safety and to avoid disrupting the class experience, riders are not permitted into the room once class has started. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, we’ll gladly help rebook you into another ride based on availability.
When are bikes released?
Reserved bikes are released 5 minutes before class if the rider has not checked in.
Can I use my credits at any studio?
No. Credits and memberships are studio-specific unless you have a NYX All Access Membership.
What is the NYX All Access Membership?
The NYX All Access Membership is $199/month and allows riders to book classes at both NYX studio locations.
